About me
I am an artist whose work explores the tension between preservation and impermanence. My creative journey began in childhood, surrounded by nature’s serenity, inspiring a lifelong fascination with the cycles of growth, decay, and renewal. Over time, this has evolved into a practice that merges organic forms with man-made materials, reflecting humanity’s enduring desire to resist the ephemeral.
Central to my work is the preservation of natural elements, particularly leaves, which I treat as metaphors for our own existence. By combining natural and synthetic processes, I aim to extend the life of these delicate forms, mirroring how we strive to prolong our own. This approach not only honors the fragile beauty of nature but also raises questions about the limits of preservation and the inevitable passage of time.
Through exhibitions, commissions, and experimentation, my art creates a space for contemplation and connection. It invites viewers to reflect on the balance between holding on and letting go, while celebrating the act of cherishing life’s fleeting moments. By preserving what is temporary, I seek to make the impermanent unforgettable.
